Arnold & Son’s Globetrotter Gold is a horological representation of our Planet and a chromatic tribute to John Arnold’s marine chronometers, which were embarked on English naval ships in the 18th century.

A ‘golden iteration’ of Arnold & Son’s iconic  Globetrotter, the Globetrotter Gold comes with an impressive world-time function. It is available as a 25-piece limited edition.

The 45mm timepiece is cased in gold as is its openworked bridge that is polished in the same shine. The arched bridge is the centrepiece with a functional ruby positioned on top of the dome-curved Northern Hemisphere dial. The ruby serves as the starting point for reading world times follows along the perceived longitude of the 24-hour sapphire ring surrounding the dial. Local time can be told by reading the red hands pointing to the gold indexes.

The in-house movement that beats inside this magnificent watch is the automatic calibre A&S6022.  The movement, which can been seen through the sapphire back, houses a skeletonised 22K gold oscillating weight and features the Clou de Paris guilloché pattern.

A stunning piece of design, the Globetrotter Gold fuses the elegance of the original timepiece with glorious accents of gold and deep blue. Red Gold and Superluminova applique indexes provide the dial its golden glow. The oceans have been lavished with blue-pigmented lacquer and lustred with pearlescent powder to enhance the shimmer. The coastlines have a lighter sheen and SuperLuminova effect allows you to see them in the dark, while the mountain ranges are present in a matte finish.
