The latest collaboration between McLaren and Castore has been inspired by the form, function and colours behind the automotive company’s range of ground-breaking supercars. Engineered with both performance and enhancement of movement in mind, the third McLaren Castore collection collection showcases both Castore and McLaren’s obsession with combining advanced engineering together withlightweight, technical materials. For Castore, fabrics are carefully selected to enhance athletes’ performance – a philosophy McLaren practices throughout the development of its supercars to ensure the lightest weight provides drivers with the greatest performance and agility.
Engineered for optimum performance, the curated collection consists of trackpants and shorts alongside hoodies and t-shirts. Hero products from the range include the Techlux shell gilet – a lightweight quilted gilet perfect for everyday wear crafted using lightweight and water-resistant fabric and with high-stretch side panels for ease of movement. The gilet also features zoned quilting to provide the wearer with additional warmth.
Alongside is the hero Techlux quarter zip, a lightweight performance piece perfect for all intensities of exercise or to be worn as an everyday mid-layer.
